An application must include the following elements:
-a thesis subject,
-a thesis director,
-a research team,
-a complete application file.
Steps involved in your application and registration for a thesis at the ENGSYS Graduate School (EG)
The most important decisions are made by your future thesis director, who will ensure that your application is accepted by the Director of Doctoral Studies (DED) and the Director of the ED.
Step 1: Consult our laboratories' research themes and topics on the EG ENGSYS website.
link: Topics 2025 - EGENGSYS from the University of Lille
2th step: Apply for a proposed thesis topic
- You must contact the thesis supervisor who is proposing the subject directly, and send him or her a complete application file.
To ensure that you complete your thesis in 3 years, all subjects offer thesis financing solutions.
If you are already employed, your future thesis supervisor will check that your job is compatible with your thesis. In the event of a positive opinion, you may benefit from a delay longer than 3 years.
Step 3: Registration for thesis
Once you have received the agreement of your future thesis director, you can start the process by creating an account on ADUM (
edengsys.univ-lille.fr/inscription-en-these-sur-adum/consignes-de-rentree).
For further information, please contact the EG ENGSYS secretariat: sec-edengsysuniv-lillefr
Step 4: Admission notification and administrative registration
Once the future thesis director and the Director of Doctoral Studies (DED) have given their approval, the Director of the ED makes his or her opinion known. If this is also favorable, you will be contacted by e-mail by the EG secretariat for your administrative registration with the respective institution.
